What Does Foursquare Stand For?
The name Foursquare represents the four-fold ministry of Jesus:
Jesus Christ loves us so much that he died for us on the cross, so that all of humanity could have a way back to fellowship with God.
Jesus Christ pours the Holy Spirit into us so that we can live the Christian life. We must continually draw upon God’s power, through the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ, the son of God, came to earth with power over life and death. Christ provides the life giving water that nourishes our soul, and heals our hurts.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, the dead in Christ will rise first. Then those who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
